(RIGBY, ID) – A Jefferson County Bridge has been closed due to structural problems. The Idaho Transportation Department says that the Burgess Canal bridge has a fractured girder, which will require a replacement. A portion of 3900 East and South 3rd West will be closed until further notice. The bridge, which was built in 1975, will be replaced some time this summer.
