Jefferson School District Cancels Levy

(RIGBY, ID)  —  The Jefferson County School District has cancelled plans for a supplemental levy. Administrators say the proposed state education budget has allowed the district to be more flexible with how it spends money. The district will likely reinstate the levy if the 2014 education budget doesn’t pass, though it is expected to clear a Senate vote without much opposition. District 251 is one of 28 districts statewide that don’t have a levy in place.
