Madonna Asks Fans to Join Her in Starting a Secret ‘Revolution’

The singer posted a sepia-toned photo on Instagram and Facebook that shows her wearing a long blonde wig with bangs, and black lace gloves.  She’s apparently in some kind of prison, gripping the bars of her cell and looking down, as sunlight streams in from a window on the right.  “#secret project,” the photo is captioned. “I want to start a revolution! Are you with me?”

Last week, Madonna posted a photo of an empty bed in a jail cell, writing, “#secretproject. We all live in a prison. One way or another. But there’s hope…… A way to escape.” The day after that posting, there was another one: an old picture of her and the late artist Jean-Michel Basquiat in the ’80s.  That one was captioned, in part, “Art equals revolution!”  So perhaps Madonna’s “revolution” has something to do with art.

Madonna does have a live DVD of her 2012 MDNA tour in the works, but there’s nothing particularly revolutionary about that.  Stay tuned.
