Police fear Boysen, 26, may be trying to obtain additional weapons, according to ABC News’ Seattle affiliate KOMO. Detectives have been told that Boysen searched the Internet for information on gun shows across the Pacific Northwest and Nevada, Sgt. Cindi West told KOMO.

Detectives have a warrant for Boysen’s arrest and he is wanted for questioning in the murder of his grandparents on Friday, the same day he was released from prison after serving a sentence for a residential burglary conviction.

The King County Sheriff’s Office did not immediately respond to request for comment from ABC News on Monday.

Family members identified the slain couple as Robert and Norma Taylor, according to KOMO. They were both in their early 80s.

Boysen was last heard from on Friday when he was at his grandparents’ Fairwood, Wash., home. On Saturday, the victims’ daughter discovered their bodies after going to their house when she was unable to reach them, KOMO reported.

The couple’s car is missing from the house and detectives believe Boysen may have it. The car is a red 2001 Chrysler 300 with a Washington license plate number 046-XXU.

Boysen is 5-foot-10-inches tall and weighs around 170 pounds.
