N.Y. Yankees Sign Chien-Ming Wang To Minor League Contract

Brad White/Getty Images(TAMPA, Fla.) — The New York Yankees signed right-handed pitcher Chien-Ming Wang to a minor league contract on Saturday.
Wang played for the Bronx Bombers from 2005 through 2009, compiling a record of 55-26 with a 4.16 ERA in 109 games. He won 19 games twice, in2006 and 2007.
Wang spent the last three seasons with the Washington Nationals, posting a 6-6 record with a 4.94 ERA. He missed 100 games last season after landing on the disabled list twice for several injuries.
