(VIERA, Fla.) — Washington Nationals pitcher Stephen Strasbug will make his second opening day start when they open the season at home against the Miami Marlins on April 1.
Strasburg went 15-6, with a 3.16 ERA, and 197 strike outs before being shut down after 159 1/3 innings pitched; following his first season back after undergoing Tommy John surgery.
The Nationals kept Strasburg on a heavily debated innings count last season and that same rule will be in place again in 2013.
