New Powerball Jackpot Winner Owes $29,000 in Child Support
Published at(NEW YORK) — Pedro Quezada will have to catch up on some payments first before he can cash his $338 million Powerball jackpot check.
The former Passaic, N.J., bodega owner won the top prize last Saturday. He opted to take a $152 billion payout after taxes.
But before Quezada can see that money, he’ll have to get around to paying $29,000 in child support.
The 44-year-old is married with five children. It is not yet clear which of his kids is covered under these payments.
