Rodgers is under contract through 2014 and the deal could average $25 million per year, according to league sources.

The former Super Bowl MVP led the Packers to their fourth consecutive playoff apperance and passed for 4,295 yards and 39 touchdowns last season.

Baltimore Ravens Super Bowl MVP quarterback Joe Flacco became the NFL’s highest-paid quarterback this offseason, following their win over the 49ers in February.

Flacco signed a six-year, $120.6 million contract and Rodgers’ new deal will top that.
