(BOISE, ID) — The Idaho Senate has passed two bills aimed at enhancing the state’s concealed carry laws. One bill would create a voluntary “enhanced” permit, requiring residents to complete an eight hour class and a live fire training exercise. The enhanced permit would also be recognized in more than three dozen states. The other bill would make it legal to carry tazers, pepper spray, and knives of up to four inches in length without a permit.
