(POCATELLO, ID)  —  A Pocatello man will spend at least 20-years in prison for murdering his wife in 2011.  Michael Lane Sparks was given a 20-year fixed sentence with the possibility of life behind bars for the May 2011 death of Judith Rachel Johnson, his estranged wife.  Sparks was convicted of bludgeoning Johnson to death with a baseball bat before fleeing the scene.  He later rolled his vehicles and spent weeks in the hospital before finally being incarcerated.
