Twin Falls Cheese Factory Moving to Blackfoot

BLACKFOOT, ID) – A Twin Falls-based cheese company is moving to Blackfoot. Glanbia Foods recently purchased the old Sartori Cheese plant. City officials say Glanbia will hire around 50 employees, more than twice the amount that worked for Sartori. The facility will only use milk from local producers, which is good news for hundreds of dairy farmers in Bingham County. Glanbia is the world’s largest producer of American cheese, selling more than 880 million pounds of cheese in 30 countries worldwide.
