7.8-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Iran Near Border with Pakistan
Published at(NEW YORK) — At least 40 people are dead after a strong earthquake rocked southeastern Iran on Tuesday, Iran’s Press TV reports.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the 7.8 magnitude struck 52 miles east of Khash, near the country’s border with Pakistan. It was 51 miles deep.
