Are Kim Kardashian, Kris Humphries Close to Divorce Settlement?

Denise Truscello/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) — Kim Kardashian is reportedly close to reaching a divorce settlement with her estranged husband Kris Humphries.
TMZ reports the couple has been ordered to appear in court Friday for a divorce settlement conference.
Kardashian filed for divorce in late October 2011, less than three months after she tied the knot with Humphries, but their case has dragged on because the Brooklyn Nets star sought an annulment, claiming the reality star married him for publicity reasons. Kardashian has denied that claim and wants a simple divorce.
Sources tells TMZ a settlement is close because Humphries has softened his stance, mainly because a prenup agreement exists that says he gets no money from Kardashian if they go to trial.
The sources also say no evidence has surfaced that backs Humphries’ claim that Kardashian defrauded him.
TMZ sources say both sides have already racked up $300,000 in attorneys’ fees and would probably spend another $200,000 each if the case goes to trial.
That trial is scheduled to begin May 6 in Los Angeles if the two can’t come to an agreement.
