Vanderpump, 51, smiled when the results were announced on the Dancing with the Stars results show Tuesday night.

Calling the show the “hardest thing she’s ever done,” she thanked her pro dance partner, Gleb Savchenko, saying being paired with him was “a gift.”

Vanderpump also said she was grateful for her cast mates, calling them, “a wonderful bunch of people.”

The reality star and boxer Victor Ortiz had the lowest scores following their performances on Monday night and were tied for last in the standings.  The couple with the lowest combined total of judges’ scores and viewer votes is voted off the show.

Vanderpump, who stars in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, had struggled throughout the competition.  Her busy schedule combined with the grueling physical requirements of rehearsal led to her collapse during dance practice last week, and the judges acknowledged that her performance of the cha cha cha on Monday had suffered due to a lack of rehearsal.

Tuesday night’s show also featured live performances from country music star Brad Paisley and a duet from Jennifer Lopez and opera legend Andrea Bocelli.

Ortiz, Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman, Disney star Zendaya, country music singer Kellie Pickler, NFL star Jacoby Jones, soap opera actor Ingo Rademacher, reality star Sean Lowe and comedians Andy Dick and D.L. Hughley are all still in the running for the coveted Dancing with the Stars mirror ball trophy.

The ballroom drama continues next Monday night at 8 Eastern time on ABC.
