Diamondbacks Place Aaron Hill on Disabled List
Published at(NEW YORK) — The Arizona Diamondbacks have placed second baseman Aaron Hill on the 15-day disabled list. Hill is expected to miss four to six weeks due to a broken left hand.
Hill suffered the injury last week after being hit in the hand against the Pirates. He started Sunday’s game, but left after four innings due to soreness in his hand.
Hill was batting .306 with two home runs and six RBIs.
Didi Gregorius will take Hill’s place on the roster.
