Fire Destroys Bonneville County Home

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – Weeds burning in a ditch quickly spread to a home in rural Bonneville County Monday. Crews say the fire started at around 3:30 p.m. along 75th East, about three miles east of Ucon. A nearby manufactured home was caught in the fire’s path, and is considered a complete loss. The fire also burned a few acres surrounding the home, but was contained within an hour. Investigators have not disclosed what caused the blaze.
