“We’re here today to stand up for passengers all around the country with the delays and the long lines and the long waits at airports. We wanted to confront what’s coming out of the White House and what’s coming from the Obama administration,” Dave Schwartz, Virginia state director of Americans for Prosperity, said.

“We want everybody, all Americans to know that the president needs to be held accountable whether it’s a manufactured crisis or whether it’s a gross mismanagement of the budget. Either way he needs to be held accountable for this,” he said.

Holding signs that read “Long lines? #ThanksObama” and “Keep your politics off our planes!” the group chanted “Obama how many flights did you delay today?” as cars passed by them at the airport.

“This hurts the economy quite frankly.  Business people are having to wait in longer lines, flights are cancelled, flights are delayed. That hurts the economy, that hurts job creation,” Schwartz said. “We can’t go on like this.”
