Idaho Airport Suing FAA
Published at(POCATELLO, ID) — A local airport is joining a lawsuit against the Federal Aviation Administration. Administrators at Friedman Memorial Airport in Hailey claim that closing their control towers jeopardizes the safety of those flying through the region. A total of four towers in Idaho will close, including Pocatello, Idaho Falls and Lewiston. Pocatello Airport Manager David Allen says it’s up to federal officials, not local administrators, to resolve the funding problem.
