Insider Says Seth MacFarlane and Charlize Theron Are Not Dating

Mark Davis/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) — When Seth MacFarlane and Charlize Theron were spotted on a dinner date, it sparked rumors of a possible romance.
The creator of The Family Guy and the Oscar-winning actress were recently photographed leaving a Beverly Hills sushi restaurant, but a source tells E! Online the two are definitely not dating.
The source claims Theron’s “not his type” and the pair are “just friends.” MacFarlane split from his girlfriend, Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke, last month.
MacFarlane and Theron may not be dating, but the twosome will be joining forces on the big screen. Charlize has a role in his next movie, A Million Ways to Die in the West, scheduled to start shooting in May. The comedy centers on MacFarlane’s character, a sheep farmer who chickens out of a gunfight and sees his girlfriend, played by Amanda Seyfried, leave him for another man.
