Katherine Jackson is suing the company, which was behind the King of Pop’s aborted This Is It tour, for $40 billion.  She claims AEG contributed to her son’s death by hiring the doctor who gave him a fatal dose of the powerful anesthetic propofol.

ABC News legal analyst Royal Oakes says the trial reportedly will feature appearances by Michael’s two oldest children, son Prince Michael and daughter Paris.

Oakes says, “Prince Michael The First will talk about hearing discussions of Michael’s health, and he’ll also talk about the day they tried to resuscitate Michael Jackson when he died.  Also, Paris will testify, again, about observing the attempt to resuscitate Jackson.”

On the other side, Oakes adds, AEG will contend that it only told Dr. Conrad Murray “to do what he could to keep Jackson in concert-ready shape.”

In November of 2011, Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter for administering a fatal dose of propofol to Michael.

Michael died in 2009 at the age of 50.
