(BOISE, ID) – The Idaho Legislature will likely end the 2013 session on Thursday. Officials have reached a tentative agreement on the state’s $1.3 billion education budget, following joint meetings between the House and Senate on Monday. Lawmakers will take public testimony today on issues regarding merit pay and funding for technology – topics that kept the budget from passing a Senate vote last week. If all goes as planned, budget writers will finalize the legislation Thursday morning, with an adjournment closing the 88-day session that afternoon
