(ROBERTS, ID) – A Roberts man is fighting city officials over a display of crosses on the town’s water tower.  Joe Cohea claims the city of Roberts is violating the separation between church and state by allowing the crosses on city property. He’s also upset that the town displays a nativity scene in a public park during the Christmas season. Mayor B.J. Berlin is confident that the city has done nothing to violate the Constitution. Cohea, who is in talks with the ACLU, has scheduled a meeting with the Roberts city council next month.
