Ryan Zimmerman blasted a two-run double, Bryce Harper continued his hot hitting and the Nationals slugged their way past the Chicago White Sox 7-4 on Thursday afternoon.

Harper went 2-for-3 with two RBI’s and two runs scored for the Nationals (7-2), who have won seven of their first nine games to start the season.

“Obviously, they’re showing a lot of respect for Bryce, 10 days into the season,” Nationals starter Dan Haren said after picking up his first win of the season. “I mean, he’s special. Our lineup’s really good, though. There’s no soft spots.”

Dylan Axelrod took the loss for the White Sox.
