(BOISE, ID) – A new phone scam is targeting Idaho Power customers. Attorney General Lawrence Wasden says fraudulent callers have been pinpointing small business owners. Last year the same scam hit the region and was directed at Hispanic residents, claiming that they’d be disconnected unless they paid. A similar scam targeted Asian restaurants last month. Idaho Power officials say those who are hit by the scam should contact their customer service representatives at 1-800-488-6151.
