Pocatello Mayoral Rematch This November

(POCATELLO, ID) – Pocatello’s mayoral race will feature two experienced candidates this fall. Former two-term mayor Roger Chase will square off against incumbent Brian Blad. Chase says he planned on waiting to announce his candidacy until later, but when Blad struck down a non-discrimination ordinance, Chase claims it showed a lack of leadership. Blad is now being targeted by Bannock County Democrats who are upset with the move. Blad says he’d rather draft a measure that everyone can support.
