Seasons of Hope Loses Medicaid Coverage

(CHUBBUCK, ID) – A local mental health clinic has lost its Medicaid coverage. Seasons of Hope in Chubbuck was stripped of its ability to receive Medicaid reimbursements amid allegations of fraud. The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare alleges that the clinic was overpaid more than $439,000. The state is also enforcing an additional $110,000 in penalties. The clinic has until the end of the month to appeal the ruling. Officials say patients are already being advised to find other venues for treatment.
