(NEW YORK) — Anne Hathaway has returned to her natural hair color: brunette.
Paparazzi snapped photos of Hathaway’s new do on Tuesday while she grabbed coffee in New York City. According to Us Weekly, the Les Misérables actress dyed her hair on May 23 at the salon of Hollywood stylist Marie Robinson.
Hathaway had dyed her hair platinum blonde to attend the Met Ball in New York City earlier this month, a gala that benefits the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Hathaway reportedly returned to a brunette for her next movie role, Song One, in which she plays a woman who befriends her sick brother’s favorite musician, according to Deadline.com.
Hathaway’s pixie hairdo for Les Mis still generates lots of buzz. The hairstyle, which appropriately fit her as she portrayed the prostitute Fantine in her Oscar-winning performance, was even named the most influential film haircut of all time, according to the Hairdressing Council of Great Britain and Universal Pictures.
