Hart Memorial Trophy Finalist Announced
Published at(NEW YORK) — Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby, Washington Capitals left winger Alex Ovechkin, and New York Islanders center John Tavares were announced as finalists for the Hart Memorial Trophy on Friday.
All three are still playing in the playoffs. Crosby had 15 goals in 36 games played due to injuries and finished fourth in the NHL with 56 points.
Ovechkin had 36 goals and 56 points in 48 games and Tavares scored 28 goals with 47 points in 48 games played.
The winner will be announced during the Stanley Cup final.
