Parker has been one of the prized college basketball prospects for the past couple of years.

The 6-foot-8 Parker has led Simeon Academy to four straight state championships and graced the cover of Sports Illustrated as a high school junior.

Parker verbally chose to play for Duke last December during a televised ceremony in Chicago but couldn’t sign with the school because the fall signing period had ended.

Parker recently was selected the co-MVP of the Jordan Brand Classic, a high school all-star game played at the Barclays Center. Parker had 16 points and seven rebounds in the game and shared MVP honors with Kentucky recruit Julius Randle.
