Otter Announces “Second Amendment Month”

(BOISE, ID) – Gov. Butch Otter has declared May as “Second Amendment Protection Month.” Otter says May is a perfect time for the state to lure in more gun manufacturers and retailers, since many gun makers are leaving states like New York, Maryland, and Colorado due to tougher restrictions. Otter’s proclamation, which was issued Monday, touted the Gem State’s reputation for being firearms-friendly. Idaho already boasts more than 180 gun-specialized companies.
