Police Look for Person of Interest in Stabbing
Published at(FORT HALL, ID) – Area police are on the lookout for a person of interest involved in a stabbing in Chubbuck Sunday morning. Fort Hall Police say 22-year-old Jacob Schmidt allegedly stabbed 43-year-old fellow tribal member Glenda Dixey at the Pine Ridge Apartment complex in Chubbuck. After leading police in a pursuit, Schmidt abandoned his car in the Ross Fork area, fleeing on foot into the mountains. Officials say Schmidt has an active felony warrant for an unrelated case.
