Smith snagged a photo-finish win after the unofficial results said Kasey Kahne had grabbed the victory. The three-lap sprint to the finish occured after the fifth caution flag of the night came down after Joey Coulter spun out.

Smith, Kahne and Joey Logano all appeared to cross the finish line at the same time. Officials went to video review, and gave Smith the victory.

Logano finished in second.

X Games star Travis Pastrana captured the pole in qualifying, but did not finish after getting into a big crash with Reed Sorenson on Lap 71. He led the first lap of the race.

Kahne finished third, while Kurt Busch finished fourth just ahead of Justin Allgaier, who finished fifth.

Smith took over the points lead in the standings with the win.
