Report: Lindsay Lohan Takes Trip Before Scheduled Rehab Stint

ABC News(NEW YORK) — On the eve of what is supposed to be Lindsay Lohan’s first day in a New York rehab facility, she decided on Wednesday to make a trip across the country. And that could land her in hot water.
Lohan had been set to check into Seafield Center, located in the Hamptons section of Long Island, New York, by Thursday morning. However, TMZ.com claims she was concerned that the facility would not allow her to smoke.
As a result, the website reports, the Mean Girls star on Wednesday night was set to take a private jet from New York to California, possibly in hopes of entering Morningside Recovery in Newport Beach, Calif., which permits smoking. Lohan served a short stint there three years ago.
According to TMZ, Lohan could be found in violation of her plea deal stemming from her car crash case if she does not enter Seafield, a facility that had been agreed upon by her attorneys and by prosecutors. Her lawyers are due in court Thursday to provide proof of enrollment in Seafield.
TMZ says Lohan potentially could be placed in jail for 90 days if the judge determines the actress violated the terms of her plea deal.
In March, Lohan agreed to a plea deal that included 90 days of locked-down rehab, 30 days of community labor and 18 months of psychological therapy.
