The results will be available in about a month.  There’s no official word when his body will be transported back to the U.S.

Gandolfini died of apparent cardiac arrest Wednesday in Rome at the age of 51.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Lin, their 8-month-old daughter Liliana, and his teenage son Michael from a previous marriage.

Meanwhile, in a new GQ article, new details emerged of Gandolfini on the set of the hit HBO series, The Sopranos.

A normally shy actor who was thrust into the spotlight, Gandolfini reportedly struggled with drugs, alcohol and self-inflicted rage.  The author cites an example of that rage when Gandolfini failed to remember his lines and proceeded to punch himself in the face.

The article also claims he often didn’t show up to set, later offering his fellow cast and crew sushi and massages to make up for his absence, according to the profile.
