Blackfoot Man Sentenced for Child Porn

(BLACKFOOT, ID) – A Blackfoot man will serve at least eight years in federal prison for possession of child pornography. Forty-seven-year-old Gary Reed was charged in December after Homeland Security officials searched his laptop following a cruise to the Bahamas. Investigators say Reed had tens of thousands of explicit images and videos featuring young children. A search of Reed’s home yielded even more illegal material. Reed was also ordered to register as a sex offender and serve an additional ten years of supervised release.
