(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – An Idaho Falls man will spend at least three years in prison after a standoff with police in February.  Twenty-five-year-old Timothy Murphy was sentenced in federal court Wednesday to 39 months behind bars. Investigators say Murphy barricaded himself inside his apartment at the Chelsea Court complex for three hours when officers attempted to serve a felony warrant. Murphy was found in possession of a sawed-off shotgun at the time. The showdown prompted police to evacuate the area around the complex until Murphy was arrested.
