“Not going to go exactly where the injury is or [when it] occurred, but I’m going to say he’s likely to play,” Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville said.

Hossa was scratched right before the start of the game, which the Blackhawks lost 2-0.

Quenneville went on to say that Hossa has an upper body injury, and that had a negative effect on the lineup.

The 34-year-old Hossa has been one of the Blackhawks’ most important players over the past four seasons, scoring 95 regular-season goals during that timespan. Hossa is tied for the team lead with 15 playoff points.

The Bruins currently hold a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series.
