Number of Mormon Missionaries Hits Record Highs

(SALT LAKE CITY, UT) – The number of Mormon missionaries serving their church across the globe has hit record highs. Officials say lowering the minimum age of service for men and women has boosted overall numbers by 38 percent over the past year. They estimate that more than 85,000 will be abroad by this fall. Scholars say the historic number of missionaries could lead to more converts and help the faith keep more members active and involved.

It won’t lead to more converts. It’ll mean more for the corporation known as the “church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints” and more indoctrination at a younger age.

And less and less successful. Thank God that the internet has kept their canvasing productivity in check. Even the Brethren have admitted this.
