Packed House for LGBT Discussion in Idaho Falls

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – The city of Idaho Falls has drafted an ordinance aimed at providing protections for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered people. The law contains wording similar to measures passed in other Idaho communities, including Pocatello’s. Several people spoke out in favor of the ordinance during an open forum at Thursday night’s city council meeting. Officials plan to post the draft on the city’s website before considering any additional amendments.
