(POCATELLO, ID) – Portneuf Medical Center has a new helicopter. The state-of-the-art Koala A119 will replace the old Augusta Life Flight chopper, which has seen plenty of service over the years. Officials say it will speed up response times and utilize a GPS system that’s designed for tracking weather conditions, terrain, and alternate routes. The helicopter, which arrived June 14, has already been used on more than a dozen emergency calls.
