(RIGBY, ID) – Several residents in a Rigby neighborhood are upset about a proposed redevelopment plan on their street. The city wants to widen the road on First North, add sidewalks, and install new lighting. The street underwent a construction project a few years ago for a water line in a neighboring development and still clearly bears the scars. Residents say they’d rather just see the street repaved and be left alone. Rigby Mayor Keith Smith tells Local News 8 that those living in the construction zone will have to settle their complaints in court.
