(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – U.S. Rep. Mike Simpson is leading the fight against President Obama’s plan to regulate greenhouse gas emissions.  Simpson, who chairs a House committee that oversees the Environmental Protection Agency, says the president is out of touch on energy issues. Simpson believes the administration’s plan would cripple coal-fired power plants, which provide electricity to 42 percent of the nation’s homes and businesses. He says regulatory control of greenhouse gasses should belong to Congress, rather than the president.

Wow. Really? The president is out of touch on energy issues. What about the HUGE opposition (masses of people protesting) against the building of the Keystone Pipline? Or how about the millions of americans who believe global warming is a Real issue? Oh, and what about the growing number of americans who know about the Koch brothers buying off politicians and engineering a massive disinformation campaign against the Real science behind climate change? I think senator, that you are the one who is out of touch.
