After flight 2675 from Los Angeles to Austin, Texas, landed at Phoenix, the plane was moved to an isolated area away from the terminals.

The airline said in a statement that all 143 passengers aboard the flight “are safe and the landing was uneventful.”

As for what prompted the emergency landing, Southwest will only say the pilot became aware of a security concern and asked to land in Phoenix.

In a statement Monday, the FBI said that it is investigating the incident.

“The FBI and law enforcement partners are responding to conduct an investigation of the aircraft, as well as to determine the person/s responsible for the threat.”
