Accidental Shooting in Clark County

(CLARK COUNTY, ID) – A 17-year-old boy was accidentally shot in Clark County Tuesday.   Emergency officials say the accident happened at the Beaver Creek Farm just after 4 p.m. The teen was reportedly trying to take a .22 caliber rifle from the back seat of a vehicle when it discharged. The victim, whose name has not been released, was airlifted to EIRMC for treatment. Authorities say the teen was unaware that a round was chambered in the rifle. An investigation is ongoing
