Joe Raedle/Getty Images(WASHINGTON) — Vice President Joe Biden said on Friday it’s unknown at this point what can be done to help the city of Detroit, one day after the Motor City filed for bankruptcy.

“Can we help Detroit?” ABC News’ Ann Compton asked the vice president.

“We had a meeting yesterday just getting a brief on the status.  The question is, um, we don’t know at this point,” Biden responded.

The vice president spoke to reporters following a White House meeting with law enforcement officials on immigration reform.
