(NEW YORK) — Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller is facing a four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s substance-abuse policy, reports ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.
The suspension is in an appeals process and is not definite. No court date has been set yet, reports Schefter.
“Seeing reports abt 4 game susp. I know I did nothing wrong. I’m sure this’ll be resolved fairly. Disapp. Broncos have 2 open camp like this,” Miller tweeted on Monday.
NFL Players Association spokesman George Atallah reponded to the reports as well.
“The NFLPA is working closely with @MillerLite40 (Von Miller) to appeal his suspension. We are all very disappointed that confidentiality was breached,” Atallah tweeted on Monday.
The Broncos were aware of an issue with Miller, according to a league source.
