Darrelle Revis Practices for First Time
Published at(NEW YORK) — Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Darrelle Revis on Thursday practiced for the first time since tearing his ACL 10 months ago.
The Buccaneers acquired Revis from the New York Jets this offseason in exchange for the 13th overall pick in April’s draft. Following the addition, the team and Revis agreed to a six-year deal worth $96 million.
“I’ve been looking forward to this since I’ve been here, so it’s been awesome to be out there with my teammates,” Revis said after practice on Thursday. “To be out there with the coaches and just do what I love doing, playing football.”
Tampa Bay head coach Greg Schiano said that Revis looked good and plans to take it “day by day” with the Pro Bowler.
Revis did not wear a brace on his left knee and participated in 11 of the teams’ 24 drills.
