Happy 146th Birthday, Canada!

iStockphoto/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) — Canada turns a spry 146 years old Monday.
America’s neighbors to the north will celebrate with the usual appropriated rituals of outdoor concerts, cookouts and fireworks.
But there are some Canadians who aren’t too keen on celebrating this year. Some 1,350 diplomats, including embassy staff in the United States, are on strike, which means there might not be any Canadians at the annual pancake breakfast at the embassy in Washington.
