Jones-Drew missed 10 games last season due to a Lisfranc injury to his left foot.
“Now, it’s back to football,” Jones-Drew said on Tuesday. “It’s been a long time coming. I’m excited to be out there running around and playing.”
“I’m the same guy. That’s how I’ve been training, like I wasn’t hurt. I just can’t wait to get back out there,” Jones-Drew said.
The three-time Pro Bowler said he weighed 230 pounds at the beginning of the team’s offseason program and said he plans to get back to 212-215 pounds.
