(DETROIT) — A bus being used for Justin Bieber’s tour was searched on Sunday while attempting to enter Detroit from Canada via the Ambassador Bridge, and a police dog alerted customs agents to the presence of drugs.
The officers found and seized a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and the bus driver was issued a citation, reports TMZ. The bus and its passengers were then released and allowed to continue on to Michigan.
Bieber was not on the bus when it was searched, according to Kenneth Hammond, chief officer and public affairs liaison for U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Detroit. Beiber performed Sunday night at Detroit’s Joe Louis Arena.
